Arvest Bank Theatre at The Midland 6.77

AEG Live, The Cordish Company and Arvest Bank announced today that the bank has acquired a multi-year naming rights partnership to the historic Midland Theatre. This announcement coincides with the celebration of the venue’s fifth anniversary since the theatre’s re-launch in September 2008.

In 2007, AEG Live and The Cordish Company formed a partnership to undertake a multi-million dollar renovation of the historic venue. Since its re-opening in late 2008, the AEG Live-managed Midland Theatre has hosted more than 600 events, welcomed 500,000+ guests, and has become a “must play” venue for touring artists every year.

Located in downtown Kansas City in the Power & Light District, the original Midland Theatre opened in 1927 and has hosted well-known artists throughout its history. Under the new name, Arvest Bank Theatre at The Midland, the venue will continue that tradition and is projected to host more than 125 concerts, family shows, awards shows, corporate and charitable events each year.

The Midland features flexible seating configurations from standing to theatre-style to full banquet seating, with live-show capacity ranging from 1300-3000. The venue features state-of-the-art sound, lighting and amenities that enhance the historic ambiance providing a premium entertainment experience to guests. In addition to live concerts and events, the theatre hosts corporate events, wedding receptions and private parties.

The Midland is also downtown Kansas City’s most versatile venue for Private Events and Weddings! The main theatre features a customizable tiered floor, accommodating from 100 to 600 guests seated banquet style, and up to 1,500 cocktail reception style.
