Arcticom preforms preventative maintenance on the Alaska Land Mobile Radio System (ALMR), which is a shared system between the Department Of Defense (DOD), federal government agencies, the state of Alaska, and local government agencies. The fundamental objective of the contract is to provide reliable and secure communications for agency autonomous day-to-day operations and first responders, especially during real time emergencies, critical situations, and multiple agency exercises.

Arcticom supports this contract with daily system management, infrastructure repair and onsite response. Many of these sites are in remote locations in Alaska, only accessible by helicopter or ATV/snow machine.

Arcticom is the Federal Manufacturer's Representative for Motorola. We service 185 Motorola Federal Accounts providing technical, sales, and service advice during the procurement process.

Arcticom serves the private sector as well as state and local entities. We are able to handle all two-way radio needs, from the most basic direct communication equipment, program subscriber's mobile radios, base radios, two-tone paging systems, and perform preventative maintenance inspections and service on this equipment we also do installations and removal of base stations, repeaters, tower-site systems, bi-directional amplifiers, dash mount or trunk mount radios, all types of antennas, and accessories that include speakers, converters, flashing lights, switches, sirens, undercover and concealment. Other services include FCC, licensing assistance, microwave design and build, and fiber optics.
