Youings 1.33

Youings are Barnstaple's oldest retail family business. Established in 1884 it is still owned and run by the Youings family. Their policy is the same as it was all that time ago; quality merchandise served with old fashioned courtesy.

There are four departments within the large shop:

The Tobacconist
One of the few remaining true specialist tobacconist stocking a comprehensive range of loose tobacco, handmade cigars, pipes, lighters and all forms of smoking accessories. We operate a mail order service.

The Sweetshop
Again, a rare treat to find a shop specialising in weigh out chocolates and confectionary. We hold over 60 jars and fine chocolates from Belgium and England and huge ranges of seasonal goods during Easter, Christmas and Summer.

The Toyshop
Another rare treat! A traditional toy shop selling toys for all ages and all prices, from pocket money toys to large sit on vehicles.
We also have a fancy dress section stocking a huge range of wigs, masks, outfits and all the necessary accessories.

The Model Shop
Stocking all major manufacturers of plastic kits, diecast models, steam engines, model railways and radio control.
