Inspiration for setting this restaurant up came from my increasing frustration with the lack of quality establishments of Chinese cuisine, and the abundance formulaic tasteless Cantonese takeaways. I have always been passionate about food philosophy, and Chinese home cooking is always the best representative of love, family and life. My food will retain a unique sense of Chinese culture and family spirit.

The vision is simple: serve authentic home cooked Chinese food in an inviting, intriguing, and comfortable environment. Fresh ingredients will be chosen from local Leicester farmers and groceries, carefully prepared and served with pride.
The signature dish will be truly authentic ribs based on my own recipes. I plan to serve four kinds ribs: Chinese herbal rib, cherry rib, deep fried rib and one special of the week. All ribs will be served with tasty homemade side dishes.

The motto of my business is “ Good food, Good neighbour, Good employer”.
