As vets, we endeavour to provide the very best standard of care for all of our patients. Thing is, we have now acquired 3 million more so we need your help!

WECare Worldwide is an organisation set up by UK volunteers in Newcastle upon Tyne, to give free veterinary care to animals in need worldwide.

Ultimately, WECare Worldwide plan to extend veterinary services around the globe but, right now, we are concentrating on tacking the issues with the street dog population in Sri Lanka, where we have witnessed some of the worst cases we have ever seen.

It is estimated that there are up to 3 million street dogs in Sri Lanka. WECare Worldwide are in the process of carrying out a 5 year plan, in which we will look to help eliminate rabies in the country and also humanely reduce the numbers of unwanted street dogs.

We also provide top level treatment for the many sick and injured animals on the island, including those affected by maggot wounds, fractured bones and hot water burns, which are very common.

We provide all of our expertise for free 24/7, 365 days a year but we really need help with the cost of medicines and equipment which, we can assure you, are most definitely not free!! Please help us to make monumental changes to the lives of these animals.
