Watford Foodbank 1.33

The Watford Foodbank provides support for individuals and families in food crisis anywhere in the Watford area. We do this by providing short term, emergency food supplies during a crisis while a long-term support strategy is developed.

We work in conjunction with care professionals such as health visitors, social workers, CAB, Watford Community Housing Trust, New Hope Trust and other support organisations who identify people in crisis and send them to our food distribution centres.

Volunteers meet clients over a cup of tea or free hot meal and are able to signpost people to further agencies able to manage the longer-term problem and give them food.
