Walton Youth Project (WYP) provides positive activities and educational opportunities for children, young people and families in Walton, north Liverpool. We have expertise in setting up and managing innovative projects working in partnership with other agencies. Our ‘grass roots’ approach is our strength: our services are user led giving people a stake in planning and implementing services. We are open five days a week and offer our services over evenings, nights, and weekends.

We offer:
A youth Club offering young people a safe place to become empowered, learn new skills and become active.

A Community Café offering good food and a focus for community engagement.

Detached Youth Work engaging socially excluded young people on their own territory, offering positive activities and developmental group-work.

Volunteering Project promoting volunteering and peer mentoring projects delivered by young people, for young people.

Negotiated Education Programme providing socially and educationally excluded young people with opportunities to get back into learning and gain qualifications.
