I am offering a dog walking service for residents of Blackpool, Fylde and Wyre.

I am an experienced dog owner, having had dogs myself my entire life since I was 18 months old. The largest number of dogs I had was eight after I took several rescue dogs in.

I will walk only one dog at a time. I do not do group walks. When I am responsible for someone so important as your furry, four-legged family member, I will not take the risk of anything happening, such as him/her running off or getting into a scuffle, hence the one-to-one walks.

If, however, you have two dogs yourself who get on okay, I will walk them both at the same time for you for the same price.

The cost per walk is ₤10.

Each walk will last 30 minutes (not including my travelling time). The actual walk is 30 minutes. I will collect your dog from your home by car and bring him/her back by car after the walk.

I don't mind what size of dog. I don't mind what breed of dog. I don't mind if your dog is young and exuberant and not very good on a lead. I don't mind if your dog likes to walk fast and pulls like a train. I don't mind if your dog is elderly and just wants to walk around slowly and sniffs a lot.

I don't mind if your dog is "difficult" - I have dogs myself now and one is dog-aggressive and one is nervous and not friendly towards people. So I just modify the walk accordingly so we go on a route that does not involve meeting other dogs or people.

If your dog requires a muzzle to go out, I am happy to walk him/her as long as you put on the muzzle before we set off.

I am happy to walk your dog in a collar, harness, or what ever type of lead you choose, as long as it is secure.

I am 5ft 7ins tall and can handle bigger, strong dogs without a problem.

If you are worried your dog does not take well to new people, I'm happy to come round and meet him/her first to see if we'll get on.

I have been bitten by dogs. I have broken up dog fights. I have no fears of dogs and usually get on with all of them. I never blame the dog for bad behaviour - it is not their fault. Some dogs, like some people, are nervous and grumpy. So if you're worried your dog is snappy with new people, again, I will be happy to come round to meet him/her to assess whether we will be friends.

I will walk in all weathers. If your dog doesn't mind the rain, nor do I.
