In 2012, Lorna Kemp, following thirteen years as Head Chef at Heathcoates, decided to open her own authentic Italian restaurant in Birkdale Village.

"We have a simple philosophy at Villaggio Cucina. Good Italian food prepared in the proper way and served with attention to your enjoyment."

Located right in the centre of Birkdale village, Villaggio Cucina serves the best and freshest seasonal, local produce, Italian cheeses, meat and seafood that reflect pure Italian flavours.
