VERITY VIEWS

Verity Views is a large three bedroom, two bathroom holiday apartment in a beautiful Grade 2 listed Georgian terrace with stunning views across Ilfracombe harbour and out to sea. Sleeping 5, it is ideal for families and small groups alike and has one allocated parking space right outside the front door. We also welcome one dog with guests. There is a large selection of shops, restaurants and pubs within 5 minutes walk of the apartment.

Ilfracombe is the perfect location to be based to take advantage of all that North Devon has to offer. With a harbour and beach within walking distance and award winning surf beaches just a 15 minute drive away, as well as Exmoor National Park on your doorstep, you won’t be short of things to do.

ACCOMMODATION & FACILITIES

Verity views has a fully equipped modern kitchen and two modern bathrooms. A balcony running across the front of the apartment, providing stunning views across the harbour and sea beyond, can be accessed through the french doors in both the lounge and master bedroom. There is central heating in each room and an electric fire in the lounge.

The apartment is located on the first floor and can be accessed either through the main entrance where there is a wide staircase leading up to the front door, or through the back door which a vehicle can drive around to, from which there are just two steps down into the apartment.

Master bedroom – king size bed, wardrobe with shelves, dressing table, sink, room for a travel cot. French doors leading out onto the balcony.

Twin bedroom – two single beds, built in wardrobe with shelves and a console table.

Single bedroom – single bed, chest of drawers and hooks for hanging items of clothing.

Bathroom 1 – shower, sink, toilet and heated towel rail.

Bathroom 2 – bath, sink and heated towel rail.

Kitchen – electric oven and hob, microwave, washing machine, dishwasher, fridge, freezer. All crockery, cutlery, utensils, pots, pans and serving dishes etc available for use during your stay.

Lounge / dining room – sofa and two armchairs to seat five people, dining table and chairs for six people, bean bags. TV with freeview, DVD player and CD player. French doors leading out onto the balcony.

Balcony – tables and chairs to sit and enjoy the view with a glass of wine.

Parking – one allocated parking space is provided right outside the apartment.

A welcome pack is provided on arrival containing tea, green tea, coffee, fresh milk, dish cloths, black bin bags and fairy liquid.

All bed linen, bath towels, bath mats and tea towels are provided. Please bring your own beach towels as these are not provided.

A travel cot, highchair, small selection of board games and beach games are available to use during your stay.

WiFi and utilities such as gas, electricity and water are included in the cost of the holiday.

ILFRACOMBE

Ilfracombe is a bustling town in North Devon with an historic harbour, ‘The Tunnels’ beach (holders of a blue flag and seaside award) and a large array of restaurants, cafes, pubs and shops.

With a number of points of interest including Hillsborough Hill (the site of an iron age fortified settlement), the architectural-award-winning Landmark Theatre with its unusual double-conical design, Trinity (a13th-century parish church) and the Damien Hirst owned statue, Verity, Ilfracombe is a great destination at any time of year.

You will find plenty to do in and around Ilfracombe with a large range of activities available to suit all tastes including walking, fishing, horse riding, cycling, surfing, walking, sub-aqua diving and clay pigeon shooting.

SURROUNDING AREA

Ilfracombe is the perfect location to be based to take advantage of all that North Devon has to offer. There are a number of award winning sandy beaches within a short drive of the town which are perfect for children to play safely and also offer some of the best surfing in the UK.

With the South West Coast Path National Trail on your doorstep, rated as one of the top walks to be found anywhere in the world by Lonely Planet and voted Britain’s best walking route by the readers of walk magazine, it’s easy to explore the 630 miles of spectacular coastline.

Exmoor National Park is close by, containing an amazing variety of landscapes within its 267 square miles. A unique landscape of moorland, woodland, valleys and farmland. Within the National Park are the unique twin villages of Lynton and Lynmouth connected by a cliff top railway and Combe Martin whose beach is famous for its safety, fun activities of kayaking, rock pooling, dolphin watching and general cleanliness.

To the West are the beautiful Hartland Peninsula and the market town of Bideford. On the coast and Estuary you will find Appledore, Westward Ho! and Clovelly, one of the last feudal villages. South of Ilfracombe is Barnstaple with its famous Pannier Market and Butchers Row.
