Hello, my name is Jim Sweeney, I am a driving Instructor based in Moodiesburn, North Lanarkshire and I have been a fully qualified Driving Instructor for the past 8 years.

I think its safe to say that I have taught some total nutters who probably didn’t know what a steering wheel was before getting into my car. No names thank you very much. I have, however, also taught some extremely sensible people who were extremely familiar with a steering wheel and could even show me where the clutch was. Real brainboxes, lol.

Learning to drive can frequently make The Learner very nervous, particularly if that person is a bit older and hasn’t just left school within the past 10 minutes. It doesn’t have to be like that. I can help you to feel at ease with driving as soon as possible, until find your feet and are able, a bit at a time, to take on more of the responsibilities required of ‘a driver’.
