A little about me, as i always think it is nice to know a bit about who you are talking to and their story.....

The Yummy Mummy Cake Company came about by chance really. I have baked for as long as i can remember, the main recipients being my family and work colleagues. I went on a basic cupcake decorating course last November (2011) and a chance sighting of a photo of one of my cupcakes by my hairdresser set me off on this journey. I iced my first cake in March this year (2012) and got bitten by the cake decorating bug. Now every spare minute is spent researching, practicing or baking cake (not that there are many spare minutes!!)

I work as a radiographer in the NHS, but would love to fulfil my dream of owning my own cakery, where people come for a delicious slice of cake, a coffee, a natter or just to watch the world go by.

I live in Manchester with my two children, so as you can imagine a lot of my cake baking and decorating takes place in the early hours.
