Welcome to the historic Yellow Door, a pet friendly self-catering cosy retreat, which stands on the same cobbled wynd on which stained-glass artist E A Taylor and his wife, illustrator Jessie M King and other artists used to live.

The cottage sleeps four, has its own garden space with seating at the bottom of the close with views across the rooftops of this distinctive picturesque town.

The Yellow Door is a lovingly restored two bedroomed cottage, in the oldest part of Kirkcudbright, in the Greengate Close which runs off the High Street.

The Yellow Door, along with the four other cottages on this close benefit from a good degree of privacy and a peaceful location which is at the same time central and convenient for the amenities of the harbour town of Kirkcudbright.
