About Me: My name is Mike Doyle I am a specialist hairdressing salon and barbers, scissor sharpener, I am a qualified City & Guilds Barber , Member of the British Barbers Association, and the Federation of Small Businesses for 15 years, I live in Horwood in between Bideford and Barnstaple, I am an Ex serviceman , I provide a good reliable service to my customers and will go the extra mile for them.

I currently provide Sharpening services to the Staff & Students of Petroc Hair Academy in Barnstaple, along with many other hairdressing and barber shops in the local and surrounding area, who I am sure would recommend my services to you.

We operate a postal sharpening service for Salon Scissors, just go to our site www.thesharpservice.co.uk, or give us a call to arrange delivery.

More locally, in Devon I can call at your establishment and sharpen on site, this is offered if you have 4 or more pairs of scissors to be sharpened, (this service takes approx 15 minutes per pair of scissors perhaps a little longer on some) (I would require a small room or space with a light in which to work) or, I can collect the scissors from you, leave you with a loan pair (free to use) sharpen the scissors at our location and return them within 24 hours.

If you have an emergency and need me NOW I will do my best to assist in every way (I am local to you)

Alternatively you can drop them in person to the address above (please call beforehand) and collect them at your leisure or If time permits, you can wait until they have been sharpened.
