In a Nutshell The Savannah is Euston’s newest, ethical and eco-friendly bar & restaurant which combines European food with the flavours of Africa and Asia, alongside some of the best-loved classic dishes. The bar has its own menu of Small Plates and Sharing Dishes, with a wine list and several artisanal beers. The stunning décor is inspired by the wide, open spaces of the savannah.
Décor and Interior With its own separate entrance and set on two floors flooded with natural light, The Savannah is located within The Wesley Hotel (see later). Many materials are reclaimed and two eco-friendly artists inspired by nature have hand-crafted and created stunning features such as the Trees of Time and the Bird of Prey. The Savannah also cultivates emerging creativity and the work of upcoming animators, film makers and artists will be projected on the walls. A state-of-the-art lighting system creates different moods during the day and night. The main restaurant sits 55 people. The bar can accommodate up to 80 people.
The Savannah – Food and drink offer The food is ethically sourced from sustainable suppliers, artisans and family-run companies. The seasonal menu currently offers dishes such as African-spiced pork belly with scallop, carrot and miso purée, Asian-style sirloin steak with lemongrass, red chillies, green peppercorns & soy sauce, Monkfish wrapped in Parma ham, Agen plums & red wine jus and Chocolate olive oil mousse. Superior wine list & craft beers.
