The Old Farmhouse is a charming 16th century traditional Lakeland country cottage in Hawkshead, Ambleside, at the heart of the Lake District. Hawkshead, the prettiest village in England, has many good pubs and little shops, and is an easy ten minute stroll away along the lane or across the fields.

The Old Farmhouse is a self catering cottage and is currently being sympathetically extended to sleep up to eight guests in four bedrooms. It is beautifully and carefully furnished to a high standard, has a warm and cosy atmosphere.
