Local, fresh and seasonal, we try to get ingredients straight from the producer wherever possible. Wild game from Walsingham Estate Shoot is a speciality, Neil changes the menus often to reflect the seasons and what is fresh and available.
We try to have a good choice of the many local Norfolk ales, and we offer cider from Whin Hill of Wells-next-the-Sea. Our wine list is short and modestly priced.

We named the restaurant a Norfolk Riddle after the riddles used to sort potatoes, a key crop here in Norfolk, and part of the answer to the riddle of sustaining farming in the 21st century! We use the finest varieties, grown locally. Some vintage riddles, looking like giant sieves, hang in the restaurant.
