The Mabel Rose Day Centre, Norfolk 2.28

The Mabel Rose Day Centre is a unique day service for people living with dementia.

We specialise in socialisation and therapeutic activities for younger people living with dementia too. Our member's age range is currently 47yrs - 92 yrs! We have a tailored day for our younger members available.

Our Indoor Activity Centre has a designated arts/crafts room, a fully equipped kitchen, relaxation and reminiscence room, therapy room, pool room, dining room and sitting room. We also have a fabulous conservatory which houses our woodwork studio.

For people who enjoy fresh air and being outside we offer lots of activities and these include: animal care/petting, woodwork projects, gardening, fruit picking/vegetables, tending to wildlife and bird watching from our hide and collecting eggs from our free range hens.
We have an outdoor games area and relaxation space too!

We are able to provide a two course well balanced meal, although you are welcome to bring a packed lunch.

We have recently developed a Dementia Carer Support Service for relatives that care for someone living with dementia. Our Community Relations Manager Hayley has over 10 years experience in dementia support and she is able to advise, signpost, help with benefit forms and offer emotional support if you have a family member attending Mabel Rose.

A referral can be made via a family member, friend or member of the care profession.
We accept private paying members, or those with a personal budget.

A free taster day is available to all potential members and you are most welcome to arrange a time to visit.
