The Lathkil Hotel 4.52

The Lathkil Hotel is situated in possibly one of the most beautiful dales in the Peak District -Lathkill Dale - with its panoramic views to Stanton in the Peak, Youlgrave and beyond. This family run pub of over 30 years recently won the award of Highly Commended Traditional Pub of the Year 2011 at the Derbyshire Food and Drink Awards. Recent refurbishments have updated the pub whilst being sympathetic to the traditional atmosphere.

The Lathkil prides itself is serving quality homemade food, using produce from local farmers and suppliers. At lunchtime diners can choose from a range of hot and cold dishes including boiled ham, smoked trout fillets, freshly prepared salads, soups, sandwiches, Steak & Kidney Pie and Lasagne. In the evening choose from dishes such as the acclaimed Venison & Blackberry Casserole or Baked Salmon with Cherry Tomato Pesto. The team pride themselves on their ever changing selection of homemade desserts – especially their White Chocolate Bread and Butter Pudding which is absolutely divine.

Excellent real ales are always available with Whim Ales and Peak Ales firm favourites, along with a wide range of soft drinks, spirits, lagers and wines.
