The Half Moon in Windlesham is a traditional Free-house pub and restaurant on the edge of Windlesham village, still after 105 years run by the same family. We pride ourselves on our family friendly atmosphere, with a relaxing garden and a joining children’s play area.

There are ample car parking spaces with disabled bays with full disabled facilities. The Half Moon restaurant is housed in an oak barn catering for up to 60 people seated, with parts of the bar dating back to 1870’s. with full disabled facilities.

All our food is freshly prepared in-house and cooked to order using local fresh produce, while maintaining old-fashioned traditional values. Dishes such as calves liver and bacon with bubble and squeak topped with caramelized onions and a rich gluten free gravy, to our famous Sunday roast with all the trimmings and those crispy roast potatoes. Then go and treat yourself with homemade apple pie and custard, sticky toffee pudding or another tantalizing pudding.

We are small enough to cater for individual dietary needs, but experienced enough to cater for large functions such as weddings and funerals.

Being a Free-House makes us unique, which allows us to offer fine wines from our extensive cellar and Classic English Ales from small independent brewers such as Theakstone’s Old Peculiar to Sharps, Bowman, Palmers, Dark star, Windsor and Eton and Timothy Taylors. Then you add our local range of ciders, resulting in a diversity unmatched in the local area.
