Our studio specialises in traditional and contemporary picture frames, built to museum standards, using gold leaf, veneers, polychrome, faux tortoiseshell, cracked gesso and other finishes including shou-sugi- ban. Alongside these finishes we produce our own furnishing items including;
Verre Eglomise Mirrors, Lampshades and French-style Tiebacks.
All our finishes can be adapted to suit frames, furniture, walls and floors.
Our services, whether Framing, Verre Eglomise Mirrors or items of Furniture, combined with
the materials and finishes we create, offer a comprehensive range of choice for Interior Designers and Decorators. Numerous combinations provide a rich source that we are sure will inspire. Constantly working to widen our range of finishes. New frame profiles are being prepared for gilding, staining and many other finishes. We are rolling out new ranges which include;
Cotswolds,
Mayfair,
Shoreditch and St Ives.

We've been working on an innovative finish, since it's conception a few years ago while we were holidaying on the island of Ithaca. For this we utilised the finish Shou-sugi-ban, created by the Japanese. We were captivated by the multitude of weathered wooden finishes to be seen on the island's doors, shutters and in the olive groves, that we were driven to express these textures as part of our portfolio.
As far as we know, we are the first to develop this finish for picture frames. Though there are other's who display the samples we have made, stating they also manufacture this finish.
Due to the time we have personally invested in it's development and being present at the birth of it's inspiration, we understand the process and believe it to be ours but like so many things in life, there are numerous impersonators but few innovators.
Having nearly 30 years experience framing original works by some of history's leading Artist's. We have built up an extensive knowledge of framing techniques. Our studio can guide you through the options to help you choose which style shows your work to it's full advantage. This will enable you to fine-tune the way in which your work is displayed. Combining traditional framing methods with state of the art techniques means we have one of the most comprehensive framing services available today. In addition, drawing on our experience in the Fine Art and Photographic market, we have an extensive data library on allied services including; Art Conservation, Photographic Printers (Hand & Large Format), Display Mounting, Fine Art Transportation and Logistics, Exhibition Hanging and Acrylic Frame Fabricator's.

All artworks are framed using the highest archival practises as standard, using museum quality materials. We ensure all artworks are framed to at least conservation levels but recommend the highest standards for works of value, whether sentimental or monetary.
