The George & Dragon 3.72

The George and Dragon although refurbished in 2010 is the typical traditional village local. Situated in the heart of the village of Charlesworth on the Marple to Glossop road. We are right on the edge of the Pennines, the back bone of England.
We serve traditional English and to complement, there is a wine list to suit all tastes. The excellent range of Robinsons cask ales are there to be appreciated plus, continental lagers are also available.
In the Summer, the recently created patio is ideal to sit out and enjoy those long cool drinks.
A meeting room with wifi facility is available and with a large car park, the George and Dragon is an ideal stopping off place on route to the Pennines, the Peak District and beyond.
