The Crown Hotel is a Grade II listed building based in the beautiful historical market town of Nantwich and has been a central feature of Nantwich for more than four hundred years.

The three storied building was burnt down in the fire of Nantwich in 1583 and quickly rebuilt by Queen Elizabeth I, with timbers from the nearby Delamere Forest. Recently refurbished, the Crown retains many original features including an abundance of oak beams; wattle and daub walls and roaring fires, yet offers every possible amenity for todays modern traveller.

All our 18 en suite bedrooms are individually designed and well appointed. Recently renovated, the Crown Grill is an an attractive venue for a casual lunch or a relaxed drink whilst The Bar serves an ever changing selection of real ales and a comforting open fire in the Winter.

As well as offering comfortable accommodation, ‘the jewel in the Crown’ has to be the beautifully restored Georgian Minstrels Ballroom. Tastefully decorated to offer understated elegance in a historical setting the Minstrels ballroom is the perfect venue for all events, from weddings to business meetings and conferences
