The Comedy Box is one of the longest running provincial comedy venues in the UK. It was founded in Bristol in 1994 and has operated out of the upstairs events room of the Hen & Chicken in Southville, Bristol since 1998.

The Comedy Box is proud to have hosted many of the top names in comedy, including Al Murray, Sarah Millican, Russell Howard, Omid Djalili, Bill Bailey, Peter Kay, Rhod Gilbert and many, many more.

We specialisie in looking out for the next big talent. No-one can know who will become a household name within a year, but you can be sure we will be doing our best to promote them to help them get there.
