Book a table online and enjoy a spot by our roaring log fire. Or make the best of the British Summertime by eating alfresco in our pretty beer garden.

Built on a site of much importance, The Cheshire Cat is said to sit on the grounds of a battle fought between the Cavaliers and Roundheads. Origionally constructed in 1801, the building was seconded by the government as an administration office in World War II, it was left derelict until 1970 before being beautifully restored to reflect its long and interesting heritage.

Our 14 Room Innkeepers Lodge attracts guests from across Cheshire and the Wirral. The Cheshire Cat's local charm attracts office staff and ramblers, as well as diners and drinkers from nearby Runcorn, Ellesmere Port and Wrexham. We also welcome business and leisure travellers to enjoy some of the best bedrooms and accomodation in Cheshire.
