The Castle Players perform several shows each year including a spectacular outdoor summer production in the grounds of Bowes Museum, Barnard Castle, and a smaller touring production in the winter.

Renowned for accessible performances of Shakespeare's plays, we welcome people from all walks of life and with various talents to come and join our group. Whether you want to be on stage or behind the scenes, The Castle Players is a fun and friendly group which has a place for you.

As well as the performances, we have a strong social life with lots of gatherings, trips and events. Please note, you should be over 16 years old to join The Castle Players.
