New owners, Tina & David are rapidly improving the reputation of this historic local pub. A former butchers shop, there is an olde worlde feel, but with a light airy interior. Being a free house you are assured quality beers, a good choice and excellent prices too! The food is best described as quality old English cooking with vegetables sourced directly from the village allotments. Feast on Venison Pie, Suffolk Ham, Fresh Fish and some lovely, too tempting desserts such as Sticky Toffee Pudding, Eton Mess and succulent Crumbles.
