The Ark Groups 3.57

The Ark is an organisation which focus's on early years education, care and development with an ethos of bringing parents, carers and children together. Our aim for The Ark children is to have fun and learn at the same time.
The groups run term time only and are based at Timperley Methodist Church.
The Ark Toddle group runs on a Monday and Thursday (9.45am-11.30am) and is a stay and free play session. It is a group for adults and early years workers to socialise and network with each other whilst the children enjoy the freedom of a large hall with a wide variety of resources. The session also includes 'story time', arts and crafts, 'snack time' and 'song time'.
The Ark Play Group is the next steps and is aimed at children aged 2 years and over. The sessions run on a Wednesday and Friday (10.05am-12.00pm) and is a supervised group where children are dropped off and collected. The Play Group is aimed at establishing seperation skills and preparing children for their next steps. It is a structured session which focus's on children's developmental needs whilst enjoying themselves, forming friendships and having fun. The session follows a routine which includes small group work, one to one support, carpet time, discussion time, break time, song and rhyme time and play time.
The groups are led and managed by Sally Wright and Janice Blair.
Sally Wright is a Quality Assured Accredited Childminder and is a certified Early Years Teacher. More information about The Ark Childminding can be found on the website link.
