Serena was born and raised in Fishguard, Pembrokeshire until the age of sixteen. She is the grand daughter of the internationally renowned local Pembrokeshire Painter, ‘Royston Hopson’. Taking on her grandfathers’ artistic flairs, Serena trained as a professional dancer for three years.

Serena travelled, worked & lived in many parts of the UK and abroad. During her time in Egypt, Serena performed on stage and run her own entertainment teams for an international Hotel chain.

Serena’s travelling within the UK and abroad has given her a great insight into different cultures. This has lead to her interest in furniture design, seeing how furniture and home styles within the different parts of the world and in people’s homes varied so much.

This insight has driven Serena further and given her the passion to start finding pre-loved furniture and creating new ways to change the item to a beautiful and also unique item for any home.
