SW14 2.28

SW14 was born one afternoon in July 2013 and comprises Caroline and David Lewin.. a dynamic duo! Our home and garden are a bit of an old curiosity shop, in face a blend of quirky pieces found whilst on our jaunts around the countryside, particularly Cornwall. The idea came to us that perhaps I could recreate this in our work. So Dave and I bought a van ditched our suits and headed for the markets and auctions. Our names is inspired by our beloved Samuel Woofington who passed into doggy heaven when he was 14.. hence SW14 was created, very much in his honour. We hand pick nostalgic and vintage items that have been previously loved and that are looking to be cherished and shared again as well as some newer pieces that fit the bill.
In November 2013 we joined Danny an Rachel Mawson at the Vintage Furniture Barn which was a really exciting venture for us, However sadly the barn had to close earlier in 2015 so we are launching ourselves again.
Caroline sees the potential in the furniture pieces that we sell and Dave is the fixer! He has the skills to bring pieces back to life. Caroline also sources smaller accessories such as vintage toys, old pine and garden pieces as well as making vintage pictures. So that's us... hope you enjoy following what we do.
There is a recent addition to the team in the shape of a black and white little chap by the name of Tommy the Collie.. more of him and his antics to follow!
