Stratford upon Avon Clay Shooting Ground 3.38

Stratford-upon-Avon Clay Shooting Ground is based at Long Marston Airfield and is situated in the heart of rural Warwickshire and the Cotswolds. It is just a ten minute drive from the town centre of Stratford-upon-Avon which, as its name suggests, is situated on the banks of the River Avon. The historic market town, birthplace of William Shakespeare, is one of the most visited places in England, attracting around three million people every year from all over the world.

Long Marston Airfield is located on the B4632, six miles south of Stratford-upon-Avon. There has been a shooting ground on the airfield for around 40 years and this is where Carl Bloxham has been offering shooting tuition for over 30 years, although in his very early career he gave occasional shooting lessons at the airfield as far back as 1972!

Having improved the shooting facilities, Carl is now able to offer shooting practice in English Sporting and Compact Sporting for beginners up to the very experienced shooter in addition to his private coaching.

Practice facilities are open every Saturday from 10.00am. The shooting ground has full facilities – clubhouse, toilets, refreshments and car parking.
