Stonehouse Town F.C. are an English football club representing the town of Stonehouse in Gloucestershire, currently playing in the. The club is affiliated to the Gloucestershire County FA.HistoryIn 1947, Stonehouse joined the Western League and won the Division Two title in 1950–51. The club left the league in 1960. Between the 1950s and 1970s, Stonehouse were regularly attracting crowds of over 2000 to their Western League, Wiltshire Premier League, Gloucestershire County League, where they won the first ever title, and FA Cup games. As Stonehouse F.C., the club entered the FA Cup every season between 1947 and 1975, reaching the Second Qualifying Round on seven occasions.The club was known as Stonehouse Freeway until 2007 when the men's and youth teams merged.Since the two clubs merged in 2007, Stonehouse Town have enjoyed reasonable success. Promotion to Northern Senior League One in 2009 has been followed by a County Cup final appearance in 2010, coming runners up to Tetbury Town with a 3–1 defeat and winning the competition in 2011, beating Sharpness United 5–0.
