Located in Hale we have the most delicious southern style food this side of the Atlantic. Our smoker has been imported all the way from the United States. Fuelled by hickory chips they leave a distinctive sweet smoked taste on all our smoked meats. Our lobster tank ensures your Nova Scotia lobster is as fresh as it gets, especially after our pitmaster chefs are finished using their special creole and cajun spices.

Our large beer selection boasts a large number of american craft beers. Ranging from a San Francisco ‘Anchor Porter’ with deep black colour, a thick creamy head, rich chocolate, toffee and coffee flavours and full-bodied smoothness, the epitome of a handcrafted dark beer. Or perhaps you would prefer a Hawaiian brewed ‘Kona Firerock’ a crisp, refreshing “Hawaiian-style” pale ale. Copper in colour and with pronounced citrus-floral hop aroma.

Stockyard has an impressive 70 bourbons and rye whiskies on offer, many of which have been featured in our cocktail menu. Be sure to try our fiery ‘Kentucky Derby’ with fresh root ginger, apple and Wild Turkey bourbon.
