Sticky Bits Cafe 4.24

Sticky Bits Cafe is the hub for our community and information centre supporting the LGBT+ community, it's friends & supporters through the LGBThq on Victoria Place in Carlisle.

Open Monday to Saturday 12 to 6pm, with light refreshments available, we are also open later for special events and group meetings.

An increasing number of social and support groups operate from Sticky Bits; including a social & support group for older LGBT adults age 50+; a youth group for 13 to 25 year olds; a trans social evening; a women's group; and a men's group. Special events are also held throughout the year.

A specialist counselling service is available, including sexual health advice, please ring 07971 253341 and speak to Pam Eland if you help or support. Information and other resources are always available on the premises.

Personal safety is of paramount importance, and Sticky Bits is a safe space and the LGBThq is a third party hate crime reporting centre.

Pam Eland has an excellent reputation in Cumbria for her LGBT+ work, was the initiator of Cumbria Pride and has recently received an honorary fellowship from the University of Cumbria of her achievements.
