Steamer Logic wins over soaking nets hands down. With Steamer Logic you can provide a healthy feeding option for horse/pony etc. Also for yourself it cuts time soaking and backbreaking lifting and mess draining. Fitted with a dry grate your hay has no need to lay in cold contaminated water.
The simple and portable SL1 will take a loosened 3/4 of a small bale for good and effective absorption or two nets and runs on a 240volt 13amp feed for up to an 80 minutes cycle using around 4 litres of water, or shorter cycles for a single net after unit warmup.
Drainage of the SL1 is by an integral tap when the dry grate level is reached.
The SL1 is safe in most weather outdoor operation but cannot be used from frozen. The SL1 steamer unit is easy detachable and provided with a 3metre hose for versatile mounting.
The SL1 when empty is light 8kg and very portable, even fitting into most small hatchbacks etc, making it great for small or larger yards or taking away to event and use with small generators.
The SL1 is designed to be ground mounted or solid base or a timber stand available at extra cost.
