St Agnes Holiday Cottages 2.32

Our cottages are perfectly situated in the pretty Cornish village of St. Agnes, with some of the best beaches you will ever find, great restaurants and easy access to all areas of Cornwall. St.Agnes has a strong mining and surfing heritage, with plenty of things to do and see for all ages. These sister cottages have both been completely refurbished by us and we have kept their history as a priority throughout. We live in the village with our three children, so we will be able to meet you as well as be on hand to help with anything you might need. The cottages can be booked together or separately.

Chyanvre is a pretty Cornish cottage, dating from around 1850. It is believed to have belonged to the mine blacksmith for some time - we have records dating back to 1867, some of which now belong to St. Agnes Museum. It has been carefully and tastefully refurbished with quality in mind, and it therefore retains many of its original features and character.

Chyanvre includes:

• Saturday changeover.
• Sleeps four people and one well behaved pet on request.
• 2 bedrooms, one double, one twin.
• Kitchen diner with separate living room.
• New electric heating throughout.
• Superfast Wifi.
• Living room - new wood burner, well proportioned sofa and armchair, Freeview TV and DVD player. DVD'S, books, games. Carpeted.
• Kitchen diner - underfloor heating (slate floor), original Cornish oven, electric oven and hob, microwave, fridgefreezer, washing machine, dishwasher, DAB radio, docking station. Fairly steep cottage stairs to -
• Master bedroom - fireplace, king size wrought iron bed, quality pocket sprung mattress (we know how important a comfy bed is).
• Twin bedroom - two single beds, again with pocket sprung mattresses. The beds are both bespoke made from reclaimed wood.
• Landing - hanging space in wardrobe.
• Bathroom - Heritage roll top bath, separate rain shower, toilet, basin, travertine floor, underfloor heating.
• Outside - small front garden which is private from the road. The yard at the back of the cottage has a small grassed area and a slate chipped area with a picnic table for four people. Private parking space also at the rear of the cottage, but more often available on the road at the front. BBQ and outside tap.

Chyhanter is the sister cottage to Chyanvre. Chyhanter means 'Half House' in Cornish as it is small, but perfectly formed. It is suitable for two people (space available for one cot). This cottage has also been completely and tastefully refurbished, keeping many of the old cottage features. Chyhanter includes:

• Saturday changeover.
• Sleeps two people and one well behaved pet on request.
• 1 double bedroom.
• Open plan living space downstairs.
• New electric heating throughout.
• Superfast Wifi.
• Open plan kitchen and living room - new wood burner, well proportioned sofa, Freeview TV and DVD player. DVD'S, books, games. Carpeted.
• Kitchen - underfloor heating (slate floor), electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge with freezer compartment, washing machine, dishwasher, DAB radio, docking station.
• Downstairs cloakroom - refurbished. Fairly steep cottage stairs to -
• Bedroom and en-suite shower room - king size bed bespoke made from old wood, pocket sprung mattress (again, we know how essential this is), plus a vaulted ceiling. The shower room has underfloor heating with a double head shower (rain and hand held) and basin.
• Outside - small and private front garden, with BBQ, bistro table & two chairs. There is free parking available on the road outside which is usually available, but also an honesty box village car park within three minutes walk.
