Having been gifted his first camera from his Father at the age of 6, for Hayder Al-Zuhairi Photography has ever since been a passion, and although a major in Business Administration, he decided to take his passion of photography a step further and become a student at Hampton Court Studios – UK under the guidance of one of the worlds most reputed photographers.

As a proven freelance photojournalist for many years, illustrating his books, magazine articles and newspaper reports with award winning images, he operated his own commercial studio since 1992, suffocated in a formal dress while shooting sport shots for media, event management companies and a daily newspaper.

His award winning photographyhas been published in magazines as diverse as the National Geographic and the BBC Wildlife and his articles and images have appeared in numerous worldwide publications, media, newspapers, tabloids, magazines, tourism guides, in addition to the web and social media.

He later founded Sparrows Pearl Photography to become a very important part of the in-house Digital Media Production Department of Sparrows Pearl Event Management, with a team of professional photographers serving hundreds of clients worldwide with state of the art photography equipment providing second to none photography services in all aspects.

Hayder has reviewed hundreds of digital cameras for shoppers across the region, and regularly sponsors special photography events and workshops for all age group enthusiasts wanting to learn the Art of Photography.

His latest publications “Around the world in 80 shots”, published in January 2010& prior award winning publications such as “Wild Arabia”& “Falconry” published in early 2006, Sponsored by EWM, are visual beginner’s guides to architectural &landscape photography, featuring over 200 breathtaking digital images from around the world and guides to the Arabian Wildlife in the Region and the importance of its conservation.

Hayder earned top category honors in the Environmental and Wildlife Photography Awards the first four years they were given and later served as Master of Ceremonies for the awards. His most recent awards were in 2011 & 2013 for The Environmental Awards – The Living Desert through the eye of a lens“.
