ABOUT US

Member of the National Association of Pet Sitters & Dog Walkers shows we are committed to our profession and that our business abides by the approved NarpsUK Code of Practice.

My name is Debbie, I have a passion for animals and have been a volunteer for many recues over the years. I am a Home checker for Home checkers volunteer UK ,Rescue Home Checkers, Dogs Trust, Many Tears and Brecon Dog Rescue to name but a view. When your on the Home checkers database you may be checking in your local area for rescues as far as Scotland etc.
This all started as friends and family know my passion and that my life is about my animals , so started home visits checking in on there animals whilst at work or away.
I have had many dogs and cat's over the years also Horses, Hamsters and Rabbits, all have lived to ripe old ages. Currently I have Dolly a 3 year old shuchon, Archie a 3 year old Bichon and Ronnie a 1 year old Labradoodle.

OUR SERVICES

We are able to offer a range of services to help deliver the stability and routine that is needed to make your pet happy and comfortable. We try to be as flexible as possible in providing these services.

Who is it for?

Anyone and everyone. You might be having a break away from home. It could be just for one night or for your annual holiday. You can relax knowing your pet is well cared for in familiar surroundings.

You may work some distance from home, meaning you are absent for 12 hours or more. Having us visit during the day means you can spend more time relaxing with your pet when you get home rather than having to immediately start cleaning up after a long day at work.

You may find you have to travel for hospital or family visits, weddings or funerals. We’re available to cover for you for however long you want.

HOURS OF WORK

8.00am - 8.00pm
Sat/Sundays till 6pm

AREAS COVERED

I cover a 10 mile radius from my home, the first 5 miles travelling is free and then charged at 0.41 per mile thereafter.

ELDERLY PEOPLE

You may have an elderly relative who enjoys the love and companionship that their pet can bring but is unable to physically fulfil all their other needs. Having been checked through the disclosure and barring service, you can rest assured we are trustworthy to help the elderly and vulnerable.

For you peace of mind we undergo annual Disclosure & Barring checks (replacement for the old CRB - Criminal Record Bureau checks). This procedure ensures that the information is up to date and relevant. Our certificates are available for inspection upon request.

On the rare occasions that we need to use additional staff, you can rest assured that they meet our high standards and have successfully been through a Disclosure and Barring Service check.

PROPERTY VISITING

We are pleased to be able to offer our house visiting services.

Whenever possible, house visiting will be carried out by myself. If there are occasions when we need to use someone else, that person will :

a) Be known to us personally.

b) Be trusted by us.

c) Be fully checked and vetted and have a current Disclosure & Banning Certificate (what used to be CRB checks).

d) Will adhere fully to our conditions and working practices.

You will be notified beforehand if we need to use a trusted third party and have the opportunity to cancel with a full refund if this is not acceptable.

Who is House visiting for?

Anyone who owns a property that is not occupied continuously.

These can include :
•Holiday properties
•Properties vacant and awaiting sale
•Properties vacant and being dealt with under probate
•Occupiers in hospital or care homes
•Occupiers working away

PET SITTING

Sofa Dogs Pet sitting Service provide pet sitting for your pet . Your pet retains the reassuring surroundings of their own homes instead of being them removed to unfamiliar boarding facilities.

With pet sitting your pets are happier and less stressed when they are comfortable, knowing where their beds are, surrounded by their toys and knowing when they will be fed.

Sofa Dogs Pet Sitting Service not only look after your pet’s practical needs while pet sitting, but also give them loving companionship, stimulating play and exercise together with affection.

On each visit your pets will be huggled, fed, watered and cat litter trays, cages and utensils cleaned, as well as any accidents that might have happened while we were out. In addition to caring for your pets, we will also take in post, open and close curtains, alternate lighting between rooms, and water household and patio plants, all inclusive of our standard rate.
We will also give you updates whilst you are away by text, email or call if you require.

POP IN PET/CARE

(at your home)

£8 per 30 min visit £2 per additional cat/dog -Three 30 min visits from £20, plus the additional charge per extra dog/cat

£12 per 60 min visit £2 per additional cat/dog - Three 60 min visits £30 plus the additional charge per extra dog/cat

DAILY DAY CARE

Four hours Pet sit throughout the day £35 plus £2 per additional dog/cat

Additionally to our Pop in Service & Daily Day Care Service, we offer doggie walks

DOGGIE WALKS

£8 per 30mins, each additional dog £2.
£12 per 60 mins, each additional dog £2
from same family.

Dog's to be walked must be neutered, no in season bitches.
A 5 mile radius from my home is free of charge , there after a cost of 0.41 per mile is charged.
