Short Ferry Angling was established in 1988 by Rob Hardman and has grown to be one of the North’s leading suppliers of coarse angling tackle with a large shop situated on Short Ferry Caravan Park, behind The Tyrwhitt Arms pub in Fiskerton, Lincoln, Lincolnshire.
We stock tackle from most major manufacturers with a huge selection of bait including maggots & worms which are always in stock.
Why tackle town centre traffic when we are situated in the Lincolnshire countryside with loads of free parking?
Carp & Specialist tackle is our speciality, but we also have huge stocks of match/general coarse gear available with friendly advice always available.
If you have a broken pole we can help - we carry a large selection of spare parts - just bring your pole in and we can find you a replacement section at a fraction of the cost of a manufacturers replacement.
The comment we always get when new people visit us is ‘Wow, what a huge amount of gear, this place is like an Aladdin’s Cave, why didn’t I come here sooner?’ - Our shop is stuffed to the gills with tackle and bait and gives you a wide choice in a well laid out manner, if you just want to browse,
The shop has plenty of room to walk round, or if you want advice our assistants are always on hand to help.
We open late nights till 9pm on Thursday, so you can collect your bait and tackle for the weekend after work without eating into valuable fishing time! Also we are open all day Sundays so why not visit The Tyrwhitt Arms next door with your family for Sunday Lunch while you get your gear?
Can’t visit us? We are one of the UK’s leading internet mail order suppliers with a comprehensive, easy to use website - visit us online at www.endtackle.com or www.matchtackle.com or give us a call for our latest brochures.
