Sholing Valleys Study Centre 3.31

Miller's Pond is 54 acres of varied habitat, which makes it Southampton's largest and most varied Local Nature Reserve.

It lies 1.9km from the shores of Southampton Water at Weston Point with which it is connected by over 3 and a half kilometers of continuous valley habitat, the Shoreburs Greenway.

Station Road marks the northern edge of the Miller's Pond site and the southern edge is formed by the railway and Portsmouth Road. The valley divides at Miller's Pond and the two branches continue to the north and north-east, to Bursledon Road at Sholing Common and continues up Shoreburs Greenway to Weston Common respectively.
