The difference between semi permanent makeup and a cosmetic tattoo is that semi permanent makeup is NOT permanent.
Semi permanent make up is less invasive because it is placed under the top layers of skin. It is made from naturally derived mineral origins and the colour composition is made to fade over time with no discolouration, the shade only gets lighter through exfoliation of the epidermis (top layer of skin). Cosmetic tattooing also known as permanent makeup, is an older technique that may use ink for body tattoos. For cosmetic tattooing the ink is placed in the deeper layers of the skin. Cosmetic tattoos are permanent and will not disappear. They tend to look unnatural and can discolour over time to a bluish gray.

A full consultation takes place before every treatment to ensure that the perfect look is achieved, this will include the shape of the enhancement being penciled on and agreed before hand.

A new needle is applied to every treatment to prevent cross contamination and the work area is completely sterile.

There is no need to remove/shave the eyebrow before the treatment.

The treatment can last between 1-4 years depending on the individual with an annual colour touch up advised.
