Hello, my name is Kelly I am Head of Operations Salon Sloane. I’ve also worked with the Beauty Management Team at Liberty of London. I’m surrounded by such creative talented people that it never quite feels like work! I’m an experienced hair/beauty salon manager with two decades of experience and have been fortunate to work alongside hairdressing greats and global icons in the industry, Vidal Sassoon is my hair hero.

I created SECONDBLONDE.COM in 2011 and really enjoy sharing some of my beauty experiences by blogging about them. My style of writing/overall look of my blog has evolved since the earlier days however, I keep growing and it keeps evolving. One thing is for sure I always keep my blog true to me! Oh and about my other half, my gorgeous husband Tan Çakar is a talented hair colourist based in Chelsea (Book Here ) who won gold at Wella Trend Vision Southern Regional Awards 2015. My nickname for him “my sexy rockstar* which you will find tattooed across my forearm ” he was the front-man of a rock band when we met on holiday in 2006 but that’s a whole other story…
