At Second Ave, I scour auction houses throughout Scotland as well as thrift & charity shops to find items that I love or need gentle restoration or are so far gone need a make over, I use Farrow & Ball eggshell or Annie Sloan Chalk Paints to make over items that I think would make a nice addition to your home interior. I buy items that I myself love and they may be Vintage or Antique, Salvage or just too cute to pass over, even if they are none of the above. Over the past three years I have bought and sold many items which you will see on this page. I can also take commissions for people who wish generally older furniture made over to suit their interior. My favorite Salvage guru is Drew Pritchard whose taste I find myself in tune with I have always liked the odd and the quirky item that come up at auction and have a preference for items that are worn, shabby and generally show their age, and like items that are industrial such as industrial ighting and furniture, if I can get my hands on it.
