Savino's Caffè Bar Italiano 3.96

After many years of being slightly behind the times, and as a present to our Dad - Peter Savino - we have finally decided to launch an official website to celebrate our family-run Café.
Our Nonno and Nonna got married in Italy in 1958, but soon moved to England to work as a domestic couple for a wealthy family in Kentford. In 1960, whilst they were expecting their first baby, they moved to Cambridge. Nonno carried on working hard in various jobs until 1967, when he had saved enough money to buy his first ice cream van. Mr. Savino became a widely recognised face of Cambridge, and inspired our Dad to follow in similar footsteps.
Dad opened the doors to Savino’s Café bar Italiano on the 7th April 1997. His ambition was to create an authentic Italian experience, in the bustling city centre. At Savino’s, we provide a friendly atmosphere, Barista-made coffee and freshly prepared food, created around traditional Italian combinations.
We would like to thank all of our loyal customers for your continued support, and welcome any new faces to come in and try one of our homemade cakes, warming soups or classic panino.
