Welcome to Satsuma ! Chesters first 100% plant based pop up dining experience!

We create our dishes with love from produce which is locally produced and organic whenever possible. We also pay attention to the seasons and what nature provides us with in abundance when we plan our menu's for each event. We also use as many fairly traded items whenever we can.

Our Story so far.....

We stated out at a residential address close to Chester's city centre about two years ago. Transforming this home into our Bistro we created an intimate and highly social environment for a relaxed and unique dinning experience.

We sat just 16 people each evening and we were soon filling two or three nights each month as our popularity grew. Our communal dining became a very special thing for us as people made new friends and relationships blossomed with our guests.

Our next Chapter.......

We have now outgrown our space at our Chester home and have begun to spread our wings taking Satsuma on the road to various locations with Cheshire, Wirral and North Wales. We can now accommodate everyone who wants to dine with us rather than disappoint so many more.

Our nights are still communal and highly social. Our new dining spaces are transformed with the same love, care and attention to detail we gave to our original home and our format remains the same.

Menu's are provided in advance and choices are available for each of the 3 courses offered. Upon booking, you pre order your choice of dishes. Our pre ordered set menu is £20.00 per person and includes complimentary coffee or choose from a selection of teas instead after your meal.

Some of our venues now have licenced bars for your drinks. When we operate from places which don't our guests are welcome to bring their own drinks with them to enjoy with their meal as we do not have an alcohol license. Upon booking we will let you know the situation by venue.

Our Extras.......

We can also provide outside catering in form of a cold buffet to a location of your choice for any special events you may have. Weddings, Funerals, Birthdays etc can all be catered for. Please contact us directly for menu planning and prices should you wish to use this service.

We also pop up at time to time at Vegan fairs within the North West area and any outside events will always have a unique and special menu created just for the day.
