Samsara promotes a get up and do/ learn, way of life, whilst looking good doing it.
New for 2015, we will be presenting our new range of clothing and accessories for men and women. We are in the process of designing and making festival wear with an unusual twist, a fusion of vintage, steampunk, fairy/pixie and pirate to create elegant yet edgy designs, and will include accessories such as hats with fully working, and moving parts. To set us apart from other traders we are working hard with this idea and as a vegan, will not use feathers or leather which forces us to utilize more unusual products in an imaginative way. This will add to our current range of hand made accessories including my hand painted 3 tier wild wings and florists flower crowns.
Our stock which we have not designed ourselves and have bought ready made, is carefully selected, supporting and paying local people, local prices, at their market stalls or small shops through out Asia.
We make and promote the use of spinning activities such as poi, juggling and hula hooping, all of which we have hand made ourselves here in Cornwall. Our novelty Poi are unique, including designs such as space hoppers, angry birds, sugar skulls and many more, all our own invention. For those creative people who don't enjoy spinning things around, we have an exquisite range of loose fabric, fat quarters, charms, bunting triangles, (pick and mix), vintage sari, silks, beads, trim, felts, and many other craft products, as well as bespoke craft kits.
We also do 3D party/festival make up, using colourful rhinestones, paper flowers, butterflies, stickers, glitter and for 2015 some rather unusual products to complement our new range, as this, along with everything we do is constantly developing. This is all done whilst comfortably seated in my classic 1965 VW Spitscreen van which is a popular feature of our stall. I also do freehand Natural Henna.
We have put this together in an attractive and well presented way to provide a feature stall which we feel would enhance any event. We present our own take on festival favorites, spending much of our time developing new ideas and creating them. We aim to create a lot of fun around our stall, engaging people in hooping and playing poi, and taking part in the spirit of the festival, and have received great feedback from organizers.
