Once the old bank on Fore Street, “Sailor V” brings a speakeasy vibe to your seaside coffee. Open for breakfast, lunch, coffees and cakes, in the summer we open for dinner as well. Come rain or shine our central spot in Salcombe is the perfect place to watch the world go by with friends, family or enjoying a little time to yourself.

At the top of the steps leading to the East Portsmouth Ferry, start your day with a fresh fruit smoothie, or join us after a day on the beach for a sophisticated twist on the traditional American hot dog, decadent salads and open sandwiches. There’s even a cold beer or glass of wine waiting for you when the mood strikes.
