Saffron’s is very conveniently at the end of both Fore Bondgate and Back Bondgate. Our location is in the historic part of Bishop Auckland with easy access to parking facilities and disabled parking outside. Our restaurant is also equipped with a disabled access toilet for your convenience. In preparing our menu for you we have included not only the popular dishes usually found in Indian Restaurants but we have also included a selection of dishes not often seen in England. Each dish has its own distinctive flavour which comes from selected herbs and spices which have to be separately prepared for each dish. Our highly trained chef enjoys preparing every meal we serve. He draws on our considerable experience from our sister restaurant, the King’s Balti. While the King’s Balti only caters for takeout, Saffron’s is our new flagship fine dining Indian Cuisine experience. Every dish is delicately prepared ensuring all the favours in the meal are not overpowered with strong spices.
