Within easy reach of Aberdeen/ Dyce/ Bridge of Don/ Balmedie/ Newmachar/ Ellon/ Inverurie/ Oldmeldrum/ Fyvie/ Turriff and beyond, we are a small, quiet, fully insured, private yard.

Our primary aim is to provide your horse with the very best of care and make sure they are happy, healthy and in a calm daily routine.

We have purpose built, large indoor stables in an American style barn with a vet and farrier tie up area, a wash bay with hot horse shower, a feed room and all hay and bedding on site.

There is a locked, insurance compliant tack room and the whole yard is covered by a multi-camera, continual recording CCTV system with owners living onsite. We have a car park and a large hard standing lorry park for your horseboxes and trailers.

We offer a full range of services including Grass/ Assisted/ DIY/ Part/ Full and Rehab or Retirement livery and additional tailored services to meet all your individual adhoc requirements such as clipping, lunging, long reining and hand walking. All facilities including parking, hot horse shower, floodlights, electric, storage, arena, jumps etc are included within our prices, which are charged at a flat monthly rate rather than per week. All stabled horses are checked 3 times per day and given unrestricted, adlib hay overnight.

Our fencing is post and rail/ wire with a 6ft high stallion/ double fenced isolation paddock and 24 hour mains electric fencing. We can offer small pens for rehab purposes and all our grazing is specially designed to be horse specific with low fructan herb and native species mix grasses, suitable for laminitics and good doers (no high sugar cattle grass), or larger fields for those that prefer more grass. We remove all weeds in spring and summer, soil test every 2 years and fertilise with horse specific slow release Suregrow fertiliser and add mineral supplements to our paddocks as required for optimum health.

All our paddocks are poo picked and water is cleaned and refreshed daily. We have separate turnout for mares and geldings who are kept in small herds of 2 to 4 and some individual paddocks. New horses are wormed and quarantined for 3 weeks for biosecurity and checked daily before progressively being integrated into the most appropriate group for their needs.

We have a large 20x60m outdoor, floodlit, all weather sand and Equestrian Surfaces fibre school which never floods and provides a fantastic, stable, supportive and springy surface to exercise your horse, safe in the knowledge that you are minimising any likelihood of strains or sprains. The arena has windbreak planting and screening on long sides plus long and short arena dressage markers and jumps. There is direct access from the indoor stables to a fully enclosed, safe, off-road woodland hacking track, plus fields for exercising your horse or pony.
