Details

The Royal Spa Centre On Newbold Terrace, is a purpose built theatre and was opened in 1972 by Anthony Eden, the former Prime Minister and MP for Leamington Spa and Warwick. It has a main stage auditorium with 667 seats and a Studio with 188 seats, which also operates as a cinema.

In 2011 major refurbishment works totally transformed the foyers and auditorium seating of the Royal Spa Centre, making it an extremely intimate and comfortable venue to visit. Changes were also made to the programme of performances - attracting a diverse range of entertainment to the venue.

In August 2012, the Royal Spa Centre & Town Hall had a change of management and we continue to work hard to implement many initiatives that place our customers firmly at the core of what we do.

The Town Hall on The Parade was opened in 1884 and has two main rooms. One, the Council Chamber is still used as such by Warwick District Council and the second, The Assembly Hall, is a 250 seat performance space used for a wide range of performances, hirings and events by local groups.

The Town Hall is also one of the most iconic and historic buildings on The Parade. Easily recognisable due to its distinctive clock tower, it is a popular venue for community events, meetings and functions and is also the home of Royal Leamington Spa Town Council, The University of Warwick Learning Grid and Bromford Support.
